Easiest cake I have ever made! Its called Duff's Cake Tattoo's. I bought them at Micheal's and they were so easy to put on and they are edible too!
The girls had fun playing lazar tag and playing the arcade games
Addie's favorite present was Puppy Monopoly. She's been playing it all day today! (Which means I was too. Addie really likes board and card games and LOVES puppies so this was a perfect fit)
Addie really wanted the Calico Critter doll house, but it was $80 and I said No. So Aubree made her one out of cardboard (I help glue gun it together. ) But then she spent all day yesterday decorating it.
Addie turns 7 today! We took 2 of her best friends to do lazar tag and play games at the arcade then back to our house for cake.

CITY OF FALLEN ANGELS REVIEW
My rating: 2 of 5 stars
I was totally fine with how the 3rd one ended and after reading the 4th..I WAS TOTALLY FINE WITH THE 3RD! It did have enough going on to hold my attention which is why I gave it 2 stars. I was just bored of the series and getting bored of the characters I guess. It had its good moments though, a little shock and surprise every now and then, but I was really annoyed with the love story. We read the whole series trying to find out what happens to them, then it finally happens, and then they are in limbo again! Very frustrating! And the ending?! Okay, I have to admit, if I was into the book the ending could be pretty cool, but I was so ready to finish the book that I just rolled my eyes and ran to grab my next book.

Discovery of Witches Review
My rating: 1 of 5 stars
I haven't finished this book yet. I am in the very middle and I am bored out of my mind! Its an adult version of Twilight I guess and frankly I've had enough Twilight. I'm getting bored of Vampires. But if you like wine and fine food you will love this book...cuz that's seriously all she talks about and goes into great detail about the dang wine they are drinking! I might return to it if I have nothing else to read, but I have 2 other books waiting for me so this one is going back on the shelf.

Aubree Had A Great Game!!!!!!!!
Aubree had an AWESOME game today!! Her coach told everyone that he wanted to see a scizzor kick in this game and Aubree did it!!! At half time he had everyone clap for her and he gave her a high five! She was thrilled! She said at the end of the game that she wanted to stay in comp. They won their game 9-1!
And they are 3-1 now.

Sooccer Games
Austin was soooo funny to watch! It was one big playdate to him with lots of friends to play with! He would plow right through them knocking kids down and falling down all over the place even if he didn't get tripped. If someone else would fall he would fall right with them! I guess Addie had a good game after I left. I had to leave early to get Austin to his game on time.
Austin played against his 2 buddies from preschool.

Addie's Piano Recital
Of course she's not wearing the way cute dress I specifically bought for her recital and she picked it out and promised she would wear it. Story of my life!
Addie's best friend Abby. They have been best friends since they were 3. Her mom is Addie's teacher. That is the only way I was able to get Addie to take lessons.
Addie was sooo nervous! This was her very first recital and we are so proud of her! (She wants to quit, so I told her she can have a month off after her recital is done. I'm hoping it was only because she's been working so hard on her recital piece.) But she did a very good job and I didn't notice any mistakes. YEAH FOR ADDIE!

New Trees
We planted 2 more trees this past week. One died on us last summer and let me tell ya, a big tree like that is devastating!!! So we replaced the one that died and added another one making the grand total of trees to 29!! Lets keep our fingers crossed on these 2 because they will not be replaced! We got the fire pit going and roasted some marshmallows.

Super Hero Birthday Party
I had this scavenger hunt planned well in advance incase of bad weather and good things I did, too! I printed out coloring pages and had my girls color them and decorate the boxes. I made up my own clues and hid them in the box and the girls took turns reading them. For Superman I made "Kryptonite" which was really slime.
For Spiderman I just bought candy with gold wrapping on them to make it look like money (Dr. Octopus robbed a bank and they had to help Spiderman find the gold)
I made everyone Batman cookies (I frosted one of them pink for our only girl guest)
Here's a closer view of the slime. I downloaded the BIF comic words from the internet and decorated mostly everything with those. The below picture was just $1 store bubble tape that had the superheros on it. Less work for me!!
ABOVE: I made everyone Captain America shields
I made cupcakes since I thought it was going to be outside and it would be a lot easier then eatting cake. I made them in advance and just froze them. Good thing I had both because some wanted cake and some wanted cup cakes.

More Pictures From The Party
Shelby, Mason, and Austin in the "Spiderman Web". Austin was hilarious when he would walk through it! He would crouch down like Spiderman with this serious expression on his face and then pretend to squirt webs from his wrists.
Here is Carson showing off the Captain American shields I made for everyone.
The pinata was David's doing. I think they are an expensive waste of money, but he insisted on getting one.

Super Hero Birthday Party
Holy Cow!! I had planned an outdoor party with a bounce house, but the weather was horrible and the day before I had to cancel the bounce house and scramble to find things to do inside.
They made Super Hero Masks
I told Austin to do his Super Hero pose and this is what he does
They went on a scavenger hunt (I'll post about that later)
I had them do Super Hero Training and then asked them if they were ready to fight the Villians. Then Aubree and Addie came bursting through the room spraying them with silly string. ARGH! I wish I had that one on tape!!
I didn't plan on having them all dress up, but Austin was already in his Spiderman gear (which is his usual attire and everybody else wanted to dress up too. Luckily I had enough for everyone.

Here's some clips from their games. Nothing really to watch, just a lot of running. Aubree did something that everyone was cheering for, but my camera had run out of room and I totally missed it! (That's not the cheering you hear in her video, that was something else. ) Her game got off to a rocky start, probably since it was the first game of the season, but they did end up winning. (Notice how skittish she is and she keeps on looking back at her coach! She worried she's going to get yelled at!)
Addie was so funny to watch. I thought after the first game she would want to quit, but she said she had fun. She did a lot of running. At least it will be good exercise for her and she is having fun doing it. She is the smallest on the team!
Austin's game starts next week. His first practice was last week. He really should be in football. He kept on ramming the kids with his body to knock them down.
The next video of Aubree, but camera ran out of room!!!!!!!!!! I can't remember what she did but it was enough for her coach to yell "Good Job Aubree!" And hearing that from Aubree's coach is HUGE for her.
