He is there on a school trip for graduate school and will be gone 10 days and I am kicking myself for not fighting to go. My kids are old enough to take care of themselves that long right?! I heard a lady left her kids home for a week while she went to California and left them a big bowl of cereal on the kitchen table. I could totally do that right?!
Point being, David hates to travel. Anytime we go anywhere he's good for about 30 minutes. Doesn't matter if its the beach or Disneyland he wants to go after 30 minutes. So after this 10 day trip and 10 hour flight, ya think I'm going to get him back on a plane to go to Italy or Ireland?!?!!!!!
Its never going to happen. I might as well buy a book all about Italy because that is the most I will get out of "my trip".
I really should stop the crying. Its not like everyone gets to go on their dream trip before they die.
And the funny thing about David is he's not even taking a camera!!! I asked him if he was planning on taking my camera and he said:
"Why would I do that?"
He's in Paris without a camera.
So I am going to take advantage of this situation and put the kids to bed early, get out the chocolate, and have a all-the girlie-movies-I-could-never-watch-with-David-athon....for 10 days.
