I told Aubree that we were just doing a family party this year. She was pretty bummed. 2 of her friends even came to hang out on her birthday and at 5:30 I sent them home because we were going to eat dinner. Aubree begged me to let them stay and eat with us for her birthday and I said no. Little did she know 4 of her closest friends were all coming over at 6pm!!! She had no idea!
She really wanted a cell phone, but we said no (dave said no!) so we got her the next best thing: an ipod touch.
