Oh boy did we have fun! While David was off to work we jumped in a taxi and headed off to see New York! We walked through Central Park, went ice skating, had lunch at The Plaza Hotel, walked down 5th Ave, saw the Rockefeller Tree, went and saw Wicked, and walked through Times Square. And that was only the first day!
We stayed at the Ritz Carlton overlooking the Statue of Liberty. They had a telescope in our room! David ran into Mike Tyson on the elevator and gave him a fist bump.
Central Park. The girls LOVED ice skating and loved walking through Central Park and seeing spots where movies were filmed.
Rockefeller Tree
Brooklyn Bridge
Brooklyn
I always wanted to go to Brooklyn Park but I wasn't sure how to get there when I was with David, but with my phone I was able to find it!
Serendipity
Little Italy had to be my favorite part of the entire trip! Loved the old buildings and food!

Aubree's First Cross Country Meet
Aubree has been so busy with soccer that she hasn't been able to make any cross country meets or practices but her cross country asked her to at least to one.
I think this is the hardest part of the race. They have already ran up and down hills and now they're trying to get the best time. She has never trained for foothills and has only been doing soccer practice so it was really hard for her. She collapsed when she crossed the finish line but I am so proud of her for finishing the race!
This picture cracks me up with those boys watching!
The top 10 out of 114 runners! As you can see Stansbury High pretty much dominated the race!

Aubrey's Start of High School Soccer!!!
We've had 4 high school games already and Aubrey has had a great start!! She's already had 4 goals!!! These first couple of pictures are right after the one on Friday night which was my favorite so far. She got a breakaway and dribbled down the field, dribbled past the goal keeper and slammed it into the corner of the net!! It was awesome!! I love how the sophomores are already making her a "family member" and giving her huge hugs. The high school boys soccer team was there watching and cheered for her when she got one in.
This was the shot another photographer got of Aubrey as she was going past the goalie to make her goal
Aubrey did what they call a "nutmeg" when you kick it through your opponents legs and then have to run in front of them to get back the possession of the ball. She did this right in front of the High school boys soccer team and they broke in to cheers which totally embarrassed her but made her oh so happy!
Another goal at a different game
Aubree's pose she always does after she scores
