Last Sunday we went on a drive to South Willow Canyon in Grantsville. We went for a hike and played in the creek.

PRIMARY PROGRAM

Last Sunday was the Primary Program. Aubree sang with a couple of other girls and did a great job! Addie runs her life on routine so when change happens she just collapses so I had to sit with her class and go up with her on the stand and hide behind her as her class said her part, but she looked dang cute!

BYU GAME

David took Aubree to the game last Saturday and took her to the BYU Alumni party. She had a lot of fun playing games and getting her face painted

11TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

Today is our 11th wedding anniversary and guess where Dave is?! AT THE FLIP'IN GAME!! So we went to Park City last night. I love Park City. Its one of my favorite places (Obviously haven't gotten around much!) We shopped at the outlets, went out to eat on Main Street and browsed through all of the galleries.
In 11 years:
*have moved 9 times
*Dave has gone to BYU and Westminster
*we have had 3 kids
*sold 2 homes
*landscaped 2 yards
*Dave has been with 4 different companies (after college)
*been to Disneyland 30+ times
(I was getting low on ideas)
K thought I could come up with more interesting stuff but I guess not!
Can't wait for the next 11! (I did type some really cheesy stuff, but I threw up a little in my mouth so I erased it)

TOUCH A TRUCK FESTIVAL

Since this weekend, like every weekend because of FLIPPIN FOOTBALL, I am left with the kids. So I took them to the Touch a truck fesival up by the University of Utah. Their was tons of construction which meant tons of slow moving traffic so I just parked the car somewhere in hopes to find the place by foot. And did I bring the stroller?! NOPE! we ended up walking 1 1/2 miles, but we found it and walked right to it thank goodness!
Anyhoo. The kids had a ton of fun climbing up on the trucks, honking the disels horns, bounce castle, face painting, and balloons. They had every truck and bulldozer you could think of. And for the mom's they had men in uniform...this is what football season does to me!

YARD

I am so ready for fall cuz I am so sick of doing yard work. I planted 90 bulbs yesterday with 30 more on the way in the mail. I should be receiving, hopefully today 10 day lilies and 2 lilac bushes and then I am sooooooooooo done. Last week I planted 2 more rose bushes bringing my total to 11. We've got pumpkins this year! YEAH! My kids are so excited!

DAVID'S BIRTHDAY

I made David a football german chocolate cake after promising I wouldn't mention anything when we had friends come over and watch the game at our house. OOps! David hates birthdays and doesn't think they are a big deal (he's forgotten 9 out of 11 birthdays of mine!), but I wanted to make a big deal out of his and thank him for what an amazing husband and dad he is. He makes sure he spends quality time with each of the kids and makes sure I get a babysitter every weekend so we can go out. When he comes home all Austin wants is his dad and wants nothing to do with me (no complaints by me!) And after 11 years, he still gives me butterflies everytime I hear the garage door opening when he comes home from work.

REEDER REUNION

Despite the drama of BYU first game, I dragged David to his own family reunion. He of course snuck out and drove back home(an hour away)so he could watch it. He refuses to watch a taped game. After the game was over he then watches the taped version. So this was my day yesterday: Take all 3 kids to the reunion, come home to find 3 screaming grown men yelling at the TV, my house is completely dark so Lee, my father in law can see the TV better, I have to listen to them scream and body slam each other, then the phone rings off the hook since Dave's buddies are calling him about the game...Finally the grand finale of BYU wining and I think I might get my husband back. Ummm no. He's on Cougar Board (a chat website where die hard, need to get a life Cougar fans chat about the game). Then he calls his brother to try and convince him to drive to the airport at 2am to welcome home the team (really?!) So now I'm getting ready for bed thinking maybe, just maybe I'll get him back, but no. He's turning on the TV so he can RE-WATCH THE GAME!!!!!!
So this is my life the next 3 months...

AUSTIN'S FIRST WEEK OF SCHOOL

Ahhhh....the quiet....no one screaming "Austin stop!" "Austin get off of me!" "Quit throwing toys at me!"
Austin started school on Monday and of course the buses couldn't come that day so I had to take him (The nerve!) He was very excited and then got really nervous as we started getting closer to the school. And then today was his first day riding the bus. He was sooo happy.
So now, other then the little boy I babysit, I have peace and quiet for 3 hours. Ahh, all the things I can get done: clean the garage, pull the weeds, organize the basement...OR I CAN FLIPPIN SIT ON MY BACK PORCH AND EAT A BOWL OF ICECREAM!
