WEEKEND AWAY WITH THE GIRLS

A couple of weeks ago the YW presidency went away for the weekend and stayed at Lyndsay's cabin so we could plan the whole year. We were done in 2 hours and spent the rest of the night watching Jane Austen and talking. We stayed up until 4:30am!! It was a lot of fun and I hope to do it again soon.....

JAZZ GAME

Here's Aubree at the Jazz game with her dad. David is always taking her to the football and basketball games. Aubree loves spending time with her dad and cheering on his teams. A couple of weeks ago Aubree's class was having a U of U party and Aubree came to me and said:
AUBREE: (about to cry) I'm very nervous for tomorrow

ME: Why?

AUBREE: We're having a U of U party tomorrow and I'm very nervous that daddy will find out! Please don't tell him!

WHITE TRASH CIRCUS

I had free child tickets to a circus out here in Tooele so I dragged my sister with me since David was working late. The first shocker was when adult tickets were $16!!! The kids had a lot of fun but everywhere you looked their was yuckiness from the people around us smelling like alchohol to the elephant doing its business right in front of us! I started hysterically laughing screaming "I paid for this!!"

Addie

Here's a little update on Addie:
*she loves dresses and skirts
*she loves make up
*she has to have her blankets fluffed with the bottom corners smoothed out at the end of the bed & has been known to wake us up in the middle of the night for us to do this
*she took care of Aubree when Aubree had the flu in the middle of the night:got her drinks and toilet paper to wipe her mouth
*cannot sleep without Aubree
*eats every 5 minutes always saying "I'm STARVING!"
*is extremely short for her age (Aubree's teacher about fell off her chair when I told her she was going into kindergarten next year!)
*has an excellent memory:we will read her a book for the first time and she will read it back to us almost word for word (her grade level of course!)

THE GIRLS DANCE RECITAL

The girls had their dance recital last night and they did great! Thank you to everyone who were able to come!

TWINS!

So many of you know David has an identical twin brother, Shane. Bless all of you who married a twin! Sometimes it can be pretty funny though. One time my friend ran into Shane and his wife Rahndi and thought that David was having an affair! Sometimes I watch their little boy Levi and when David comes home he'll just sit and stare at him with a very confused look and then all he wants is David.
So I recently bought new glasses and had David pick them out since I couldn't figure out which ones to buy and a week later Rahndi did the same thing and Shane picked out the same pair! We didn't know until we hung out a few days later.

REEDER CHRISTMAS PARTY

We get together once a year with the Reeders side about once a year. Aubree loves her Reeder cousins and its lots of fun when theirs 5 girl cousins to play with!

Letters To Santa

My friend told me of this website called emailsanta.com Aubree's not so sure about Santa this year so we went on this website and wrote a letter to Santa and she instantly got a personalized letter back. She couldn't believe it! She was ecstatic the rest of the day!

Creations By You!

I have to tell you about this amazing company called Creations By You We got it for Aubree for her birthday and it comes with all the supplies to make your own book! Aubree made up a story and drew the pictures to go along with it. Then you send everything in a prepaid envelope that was included and a couple of weeks later they send you a hardbound book! They typed up the story and printed Aubree's pictures ( I feel bad for the poor person who had to deciper Aubree's spelling!) You can make a note on there if you want the spelling fixed, i told them not to. Anyways, I got it today and it looks AWESOME! Aubree is going to be so excited! I"m going to wrap it and put it underneath the tree for Christmas. I even sent in a picture of her and they printed it on About The Author Page. I got it on Amazon for $19.99! I'm sure after she sees it she's going to want to make another one cuz she had so much fun making the first one! (I inserted a link in the beginning of the post where it says Creations By You)

My Family's Visit From AZ

So my parents and brother came up for Aubree's baptism and stayed for about a week. It was nice having them here since we don't see them very much. We had tickets to The Nutcracker so my parents took the girls to that and I put my dad to work fixing things around the house. Thanks Dad!!
