David and Aubree run the track at the high school a couple nights a week and one night Austin wanted to go to. So without us saying anything he puts on his "running outfit" as he calls it and his "running shoes (aka spiderman shoes that lightup) and we all went to the track.
Austin ran 5 laps with me and Davids mouths gaping open.
Everytime he would get back to the starting line up he would say "C'mon Dad lets go!" When he was almost at the finish line we would cheer him on and he would run really fast to "win" with a huge grin on his face.
He's never done 5 laps in a row since then but he'll at least do 2 or 3.
Addie and I sit on the stands and cheer them on dreaming of the marathon we might run someday...in the millennium ...
