More back yard pictures & Primary Program

Sorry everyone! More pictures of the backyard, but my parents won't see my yard until winter. Also the primary program was today and the girls did great! This was my 4th time having to do the program since I have been in Primary for a century in a half! But this time I made David sit on the stand.

TAGGED BY SHELLEE

I am: Mom, Daughter, Friend, Sister, Aunt

I think: About getting the rest of my yard in

I know: I need to eat better, but I don't!

I want: My kids to experience everything & have no regrets

I have: 3 high energy kids

I dislike: cancer.

I miss: My mom & my California friends

I fear: My kids dying too young

I feel: stressed out

I hear: silence ( 2 kids napping, one watching a movie downstairs, one at school!)

I smell: homemade fruit roll ups in my oven & I love good house smells (you know when you walk into someones house & it just smells weird? HATE THAT!)

I crave: ice cream, peanut butter, salt, chocolate or anything fried

I cry: When I don't get time to myself twice a day

I usually: shop when I receive emails about clearances

I search:for the perfect shoes for my kids

I wonder: if we will ever finish our yard

I regret: everything about high school

I love: my family

I care: about what other people think of me

I always: Want to be a good Mom.

I worry: BRACE YOURSELVES!: about my kids getting cancer or some weird illness that their is no cure for, my kids being kidnapped, being attacked by a dog, having no control of a bm situation & not being anywhere near a bathroom!

I am not: a morning person.

I remember: all the things I wish i could forget

I believe: In God and prayer.

I sing: can't

I don't always: tell David I am sorry (I hardly ever need to though)

I argue: Not very often. Pick your battles. I never win when its with David anyway!)

I write: on a blog.

I win: I usually give in. I hate confrontation

I lose: at any sport

I wish: for good health, a bigger car, and to finish my yard

I listen: to every kind of music

I am talented: In my kids eyes.

I can usually be found: at the park, online shopping, crashed on the couch, or taking my kids to their activities

I am scared: when David has school at nights and I'm alone with the kids late at night ( I swear theirs a rapist hiding in my basement!)

I need: A girls night out every so often. Its good to let loose.

I forget: everything if I don't write it down and look at my day planner

I am happy: in California and when David and I go out (3x a month)

Who I'd like to "Tag" : Charity, Melanie, & Paula

LOOK WHAT I DID!

I got this idea off of Little Window Shop. It took me an hour to make, but hanging up is a different story! I glue-gunned fabric to 11x14 canvas and glued my pictures on the rest.

LAGOON!

I swear I was just at Disneyland 2 weeks ago! David had his work party at Lagoon this year. The kids had a great time. Of course Austin was a stinker and Dave took him home early (or was it because BYU played today and he has to watch it LIVE! So we took 2 separate cars & had to pay for parking for 2 cars!! He is now watching the taped version. Sometimes I'll hear him scream "YES!" when they score a touch down that he already knew they were going to score!) Anyways. So I stayed with the girls until 8pm (been there since 10am) yes I know, I am always over doing it. Since our great friends the Brammers are at AMX we hung out with them the whole time ( well they left at a normal time and we had to stay since my girls informed me we haven't been on all of the rides!) So we're done. Summertime is over!

First Day of School!

Since we were at Disneyland, Aubree missed her first day of school. (How lucky is that?!) Aubree is now in 2nd grade and her teacher is Mrs. Mehler who I have heard is the one to get. So I have my fingers crossed and hope for a better year. Aubree picked out her outfit all by herself this year! (Please keep that in mind!) Addie started preschool again this week and goes MWF for 2 hours now! YEAH! She wasn't thrilled about going so she didn't want to wear what she had bought for her first day (Typical Addie) she got the skirt right but put on one of her play shirts. Oh Well! (We were in Childrens Place for a whole hour while Addie tried to pick out her outfit. I was going to rip my eyeballs out!)

My New Job

So this is my new full time job! This is Lauren and I am now watching her M-F from 8am-5pm. So far its been pretty good. Her and Austin don't get along, but I make them take their naps at the same time so I can have a break. As long as I stick to a schedule its not so chaotic.

HANGING OUT WITH LONG LOST COUSINS

I hung out with my cousin's wife who is on my mom's side of the family. I haven't seen her in 5 years so it was great seeing her and her kids. We went to Thanksgiving Point and the kids had fun petting the animals. Then we go and get the kids some ice cream. All was fine until Austin dropped his ice cream and all hell broke loose! He threw himself on the ground and slammed his head onto the floor. ( This is what he usually does but most of the time its on carpet.) The sound alone was enough to make you sick! I immediately picked him up and he already had a bump the size of a golf ball! I am so glad Paula was there so I didn't have to go through that alone! I just wanted out of there! So we rushed everyone outside and then Addie starts throwing a fit because she wants to eat inside! Whatever............! (side note: I do feed Aubree I swear! Would you believe me if I told you that she was in the 95 percentile until she was 12 months?!?)

TURNING 38

So the Schwan man is at my house and he's trying to guess my age and thought I was in my late 30's!!! Are you kidding me!!! Here I am having a hard time turning 30 and now I have to worry about turning 40!!!

OUR TRIP TO CALIFORNIA

We celebrated the end of summer with a last minute trip to California! We first stopped in Vegas and stayed at the Marriott and then we were on our way to Cali. The kids had their own room which was REALLY nice! We had dinner at Goofy's Kitchen, took the kids to Disneyland. Austin was not fun so david took him back to the hotel and I stayed with the girls. We saw 2 parades, the Alladin show (which is like a Broadway version of it..AWESOME!) and then we saw the fireworks show over the castle which were AMAZING!! They had Tinker Bell flying over the castle during the fireworks which Addie was just thrilled about because she LOVES Tinker Bell. By this time it was 10pm and we had been there was 13 hours and I thought they would be ready to go. So I asked them if they wanted to go and Addie started freaking out saying she still wanted to ride the rides and i asked her which one and she says, "ALL OF THEM!!" So we went on 2 more rides and after being there for 14 1/2 hours it was time to go!!!! The next day we drove around Mission Viejo and had lunch where we used to go for walks, took the kids to our favorite beach, and swung by the Newport Beach temple. We had a great time! (Of course Austin was horrible and screamed most of the time in the car!)

BREAKING DAWN RELEASE PARTY!!!

None of us adult married women wanted to admit that we REALLY wanted to go to the Breaking Dawn party, but at the last minute we finally admitted that we couldn't miss it! So we had dinner at joe's crab shack and walked over to the CHAOS at Barnes and Noble and got in line for pictures with "Edward". (Move over Bella!!) We were # 149 and we were worried we weren't going to get it since they were closing the store, but we made it and i pushed my way to stand next to "Edward". The staff was really nice and were very understanding of everyones OBSESSION. They held our purses for us and explained how the picture was going to work and then she looks at me and says,"I just want to make sure you are ready." I saw people as old as 60 and as young as 8. So then around 11pm we went over to Wal-Mart hoping we would be less crowded. Oh no!! Their were propbably 500 people in front of us!! The wal mart staff handed everyone wedding cake. As the night wore on I have no idea how many people were behind us. It was insane!! I have never seen anything like it!! Finally at 12:15 we had our books in our hands and we had a very memorable FUN night!! I just saw on the news that their were 2,000 people at the Barnes and Noble that we were at and over 1,000 at the Wal-Mart!
