I haven't read a really good book in a long time! I've been reading a lot of fantasy lately and this was a good change. A story about real life and motherhood and everyone's worst nightmare....

 When Austin was just a baby we have been talking about holding him back since he has a later birthday and he's a boy. But now that its the year when he should go to kindergarten its been really hard!!! I know I will never regret it, but when I took the girls to school and saw the Welcome Kindergartners! sign I got kinda sad that Austin might be missing out. So another year of preschool here we come! This year I signed up Carson, the little boy I babysit.

 Sorry for the hands. You have know idea how many crotch hold pictures I have!

 Austin also gets to be in the same class as his cousin Levi.

 Funny how we bought so many pairs of jeans for the new school year and then come the first day of school we were scrambling to find some nice pairs of shorts!

 This teacher has been asking for Addie before she started kindergarten!!! It was pretty surreal walking into her classroom with Addie.

So excited to start 5th grade. (I'm really nervous about this year. I've heard good and bad about her teacher.)

One last Weekend

 We went on one last outing before school and the craziness of soccer started. We drove up to Midway and found a great hiking spot.

 Aubree is my outdoor girl. After we were done hiking I let her play in the water while everyone else went back to the car.

 Afterwards we went to a little touristy shop for some ice cream

 They had old fashioned toys for the kids to play with

I love Midway. My dad's side of the family is from here. Someday David and I would like to retire here.

Updating My Wall

 These were taken in the shade and I'm still learning how to use my camera so the lighting isn't perfect. Their were several that turned out that had better lighting, but I love Addie in this picture.

 Ahhh, my sweet girls....who will be locked away when they turn 16!!!

I have been debating whether or not to post these pictures since I'm using them for Christmas cards, but oh what the heck! In the first 3 minutes of this shoot, I had them all posed and Austin just kinda looked up at me, rolled his eyes, and walked back to the car and shut the door. Needless to say I was able to coax him back with a bribe from Kravers and a "If these pictures don't turn out I'll just keep on bringing you out here until they turn out perfect!" kind of a threat.
It worked.

Aubree's First Triathlon!!

 Aubree competed in her first triathlon for Stansbury Days. I was really stressed out so my filming was horrible!!! First they had to swim a lap, then bike 3.2 miles, and finish with running a mile. She was in the 10-12 category so she was running against girls going into 7th grade which I didn't think was fair. That being said...she was the 3rd girl to cross over the finish line!!!!  Since they do it by time she placed 5th in her division (the first 3 were the mammoth 7th graders!) and the girl who placed 4th beat her by 8 seconds. We are so proud of her especially since she didn't even want to do it in the first place!! A friend of hers said that while Aubree was running the mile she heard Aubree scream "I am never doing this again!!!"  She placed 15th overall out of 80 kids boys and girls. Her time was 25:25

 She was being really grumpy right before this picture. I actually wanted the grumpy face and I think she knew that.

 Here she is just finishing the bike race. She has to put her bike back and start the mile run.

 My friend who cuts my hair had this sitting in her driveway. I asked her what she was doing with it and she said ,"Oh I'm chucking it. That thing is ugly!"    Ummm no. So I took it home and in 3 days had it looking like this:

I finally found a white paint that I like. Its from Martha Stewart and its called chalkboard. Since I got the table for free I decided to splurge on some knobs from Anthropology.

I'm Not Old Enough To Have A Daughter in Braces!

Aubree got her braces on yesterday and was really excited...up until this morning.  All of her adult teeth are in so we figured we might as well just get them started.
 I still have my dang springs so my smile is forced...it literally hurts to smile because they rub on my sores...and maybe I should've done this picture in black and white...UGH!
